Community Service Initiative: Finding Your Power: Helping Your Body Help You

Ella-Kathryn is a Junior at Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, NE. Her scholastic ambition is to obtain a Masters Degree in Psychology. Through her CSI, she wishes to empower others to learn healthy habits and find their true power. Ella-Kathryn has traveled to elementary schools and libraries to talk to kids about how we can prioritize both our physical and emotional health. She wants to partner with Girls on the Run statewide to a national partnership with the organization and encourage young girls to find joy through running with friends. She states "Whether your self care is going on a walk, talking with friends, making healthy but delicious meals, or reading, my CSI will help you find your power and encourage those around you to do the same"
