​Community Service Initiative: Sammy's Superheroes: Ending Childhood Cancer

​

Alayna is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communications Sciences & Disorders. In 2023 she finished her Masters of Speech-Language Pathology with the University of Kansas/University of Kansas Medical Center and is currently working on her Doctorate. As a titleholder, the core of her year will be focused on legislative initiatives to increase funding for childhood cancer research. She will continue to expand the reach of Kool People Kare stands, continue the Unlocking Your Superpower book tour (a book she published), and form Sammy's Superheroes chapters in other states.
