Maria is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Media and Journalism. She believes media literacy teaches people how to think, not what to think. It gives people the tools to question sources, understand bias, identify misinformation, and analyze how media is made. Her goal is to spread the word, helping kids understand how journalism works, how stories are chosen, and how truth is verified. Maria's career ambition is to be a Morning News Anchor on Good Morning America.
