Ella-Kathryn is a Senior at Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, NE. Her scholastic ambition is to obtain a Master's Degree in Health Psychology with an emphasis on Nutrition. She is the current official youth ambassador for Food Bank for the Heartland. Ella-Kathryn believes that

Combating food insecurity and eliminating food deserts in Nebraska requires a comprehensive

approach that combines advocacy, fundraising, and legislation to create lasting change. By

educating the public, raising funds for critical food assistance programs, and supporting initiatives

like backpack programs and food banks, she believes they can ensure no child ever has to wonder where their next meal will come from.
