Ella-Kathryn is a Senior at Scottsbluff High School in Scottsbluff, NE. Her scholastic ambition is to obtain a degree in Dietetics and a minor in Child Development, to become a Pediatric Dietitian. Ella-Kathryn believes that combating food insecurity and eliminating food deserts in Nebraska requires a comprehensive approach that combines advocacy, fundraising, and legislation to create lasting change. By educating the public, raising funds for critical food assistance programs, and supporting initiatives such as backpack programs and food banks, she believes they can ensure that no child ever has to wonder where their next meal will come from.
